What are the hours of operation of your pathology collection sites?
Please click on our Locations tab to find a collection centre near you. The hours of operation for each centre are displayed under the name of that collection centre as it appears on the listing on the right-hand side.
What do I need to get a blood test?
You should bring the following with you for your testing:
- The testing request form given to you by your doctor
- Your Medicare card / Veterans' Affairs card
- Your private insurance details (if you don't possess a Medicare card)
Do I need to make an appointment?
No appointment is required for routine testing. Just turn up to the 4Cyte Pathology Collection Location with your Pathology Referral Form.
However, tests where an appointment is required are:
- Blood Pressure Monitoring (BP, ABP)
- Holter Monitoring (Holter, 24Hour Holter, etc)
- Venesection
Can I use any Pathology Request form?
Yes. 4Cyte will accept any Australian pathology request form on any letterhead/form. You can bring any request form to any of our collection centres.
How can I organise a home visit from a 4Cyte Pathology Collecting nurse?
If you have limited physical mobility, 4Cyte can come to your residence to collect your blood specimen.
